"Approximate money raised during Youth Weekend was $4500.00 Congratulations to every one who helped make this possible...Thanks again" Well I think we need to seriously thank God for not raining us out, he's the only one that had control of the weather right over top of the arena this past weekend. I think we had a great turn out and can't wait to hear how much this weekend raised for the youth. I would like to thank everyone that worked so hard to make this weekend happen, without people like ya'll we could never pull off a show weekend like we had. I know it was tiring but it's all going to be worth it at the banquet. The chicken plates were a great idea they were sold out within an hour or 2 after they went on sale...I guess we know what we're cookin at the next show we put on:) Thank you to Smithfield's Barbecue for donating the sweet tea and slaw and also to the Franklinton Saddle Club for donating the ring and grounds to us for the weekend. Thanks again everyone for making this weekend such a success!!! Plus Anne Lumley took over 1500 pictures at the June 14th, June 21st and 22nd shows at Pocomoke and is selling the 5x7's for $5.00 a piece or $5 for a digital copy that can be downloaded directly from her site. If you are interested in any pictures of you or your children please check out her website at www.annelumley.com. All this money is going towards our year end awards. The last time she did this it raised $55. Thanks Anne for your support and great photography:) Check out how the Youth of CCWHA did at the District 4H show this year!!!! Wrist Band Fund Raiser...the wrist bands are in!!! We'll have them at the shows until we sell out of them. They are purple and white, CCWHA's colors and $3.00 a piece. We will order more if they sell well.
